Induction type works on the same principles as magneto - by transit of permanent magnet around coil there is induced in coil voltage pulse, which after processing determines moment of spark ignition. During transit around sensor there are always inducted two impulses, first plus and second minus, only one of them is used to proceedings of closure time, second one is ignored. Advantage of this sensor lies in boudless lifetime due to contactless sensoring. Disadvantage lies in very small induced voltage during little revolutions, when impulse is useless under definite revolutions border (about 1 rev/sec). Accrued high tension of impulse in high revolutions is not problem to reduce by electronic way. If engine doesn´t work, there is no impulse induced.
Hall sensor is perfect signal type of sensor. Main component is accessory working on the principle of Hall effect, which is supplied by circuits for signal processing and by slot with integrated magnet. There come steel plate with excision interpolating magnetic flux through slot. By output there is constant two conditions signal independent on revolutions even temperature.
